For the third conference, KNTGameDec returned to the UKW Library. I have once again taken the role of IT guy for this event. Once again, I was responsible for the IT side of things and communicating with the university's IT department. I also helped with general preparations before the event.

Unlike previous events, this one was more compact than the others. There were a similar number of lectures and workshops to the first one. And the quality of it was the best it got at the time. On the day of the conference, there were little to no surprises. Most tasks were done halfway through, which ensured the smooth running of the task. From that point, I was on standby, in case anything happened. There was one surprise near the end of the event: a missing HDMI cable. Which was quickly found. Generally, the conference from an organiser's standpoint, as there was nothing unexpected to fix. Everything went as intended, and because of that, it was boring, which was the best. It went this way for a few reasons. First, we learned from the previous conferences. Second, we were running with a smaller crew. There were mostly only necessary people with all hands on deck. This eliminated the problem of people having overlapping tasks and not knowing what to do with themselves. At first, I was surprised by the smaller crew, but during the event, any doubts I might have had evaporated. Because of the smaller size I was the sole IT guy of the event this time. Because the crew was tighter and worked as a well-oiled machine.

This event I have worked on was one of the best things I have ever worked on. This is not hyperbole. Throughout the event, everything flowed together; there was only one hiccup, and it could not have gone better.
